Cheshire end Berkshire’s Trophy streak

CHESHIRE ENDED Berkshire’s hopes of winning the National Counties Trophy for a fifth successive season with an emphatic semi-final victory at Alderley Edge and they will now meet Norfolk in the final at Wormsley on August 25.
Cheshire’s 133-run win was also Berkshire’s first defeat in a semi-final of the competition for 24 years and brought to an end a record run of titles that began in 2019.
