NOTTS & ARNOLD Amateurs second XI openers Connor Brindley and Alex Burrow had a day to remember and possibly forget as they were both dismissed for 99 in their side’s South Nottinghamshire Cricket League Division E victory over Fiskerton & Thurgarton.
The pair put on 143 for the first wicket before Burrow was dismissed, caught and bowled, for a destructive 68-ball 99 before Brindley fell for a more leisurely 115-ball 99, the latter being run-out while attempting to bring up his ton.
