ST FAGANS capped off a season to remember when they won the Welsh Cup last weekend having claimed the South Wales Premier League title and SWPCL T20 Cup the weekend before.
In a rain-hampered affair, St Fagans defeated Newport by nine wickets in the final held at Usk Cricket Club, chasing down a revised target of 78 in 12.2 overs after their innings was reduced to just 15 overs.
Steve Reingold (36*) and Jeremy Lawlor (26*) eased St Fagans to their target in wet conditions. In the first innings, before the rain arrived, Newport were bowled out for 161 after electing to bat first.
