EAST MOLESEY took the Surrey Championship title after managing to take a full 20 points on a rain-affected day across the league.
They beat Sutton by four wickets, chasing down a revised 123 in a reduced 22 overs. Second place Reigate Priory were rained off against Banstead giving them no chance of winning.
Sutton made 139-8 in their 26over innings, Daniel Peall making a 29-ball 44. Matthew Tigg picked up 3-20 for East Molesey, including the big wicket of Fabian Cowdrey.
