BURNMOOR COMFORTABLY won the North East Premier League, finishing a massive 87 points ahead of second place South Northumberland after a dominant campaign.
They ended the season with a 97-run win over Ashington after former Ireland international Stuart Poynter top scored with 72 from 34 balls.
Waqas Maqsood finished unbeaten on 48 and Josh Coughlin made 44 off just 18 as the champions posted 321-8 from their 45 overs.
