PUDSEY Congs chairman Ralph Middlebrook has questioned whether all Bradford Premier League sides can fulfil top-flight criteria following their relegation.
The six-time champions were demoted to the second division courtesy of an agonising one-run defeat to New Farnley.
Two runs on the final ball would have been enough to leapfrog East Bierley, whose match with Bradford & Bingley was abandoned with them at 75-5 chasing 187 to win.
Middlebrook stated in a letter to the league that Congs have long held concerns about whether certain rival clubs satisfy league criteria.
