Seven cricket games to play on the go

Cricket has an audience of over 2.5 billion fans around the world, making it the second-most popular sport in the world after football.

However, with the season over plenty of fans are twiddling their fingers wondering how they can get their fix before winter nets and the new campaign roll round.

That being said here’s a list of great cricket games to keep you busy, playable in a browser or on your phone!

World Cricket Championship 2

World Cricket Championship 2 is a highly realistic cricket simulator, with over 100+ motion captured animations, stellar graphics and player models. It features various game modes including Practice Mode (self-explanatory), Quick Play Mode (allows you to simply select two teams and jump into gameplay), as well as various Tournament Modes. There are 5 Tournament modes in total, which include Blitz Tournament, World T20 Cup, Indian National Premier League, ODI Series, and World Cup.

Cricket Star

Cricket Star is a cricket-based slot game which you can play at Casumo online casino UK. Cricket Star features 5 reels, 4 rows and a fixed number of paylines. As a cricket-themed slot game, all of the reels feature graphics such as cricket balls, players, umpires, and various bonuses like the Scatters icon, which can earn you free spins.

Real Cricket 19

Real Cricket 19 is the latest version of Nautiles Mobile’s Real Cricket series for mobile devices. It is one of the first mobile cricket games to allow multiplying options between opponents all over the world. Real Cricket 19 has some rather complex gameplay, and while you may be tempted to go for the glory shots on every ball, it’s sometimes wiser to keep the ball grounded and play your backfoot, so that you don’t end up losing your wicket.

World Cricket Battle 2

World Cricket Battle 2 has some of the most advanced, next-generation 3D graphics for a mobile cricket game, and is jam-packed full of exciting features. You can take part in the World Cricket Championships which include a My Career mode as you advance a player through games and skill progression, or the real-time Cricket Batting multiplayer mode. The game developers claim that there are no bots in the multiplayer games, so all multiplayer games are against real, live players.

Friends Beach Cricket 2019

From the same developers of World Cricket Battle comes Friends Beach Cricket 2019, which is a decidedly more casual mobile cricket experience. As the game’s title implies, the gameplay takes place on an exotic beach location, and there are numerous unique cricket “bats” to choose from – including coconut bats, baseball bats, and even frying pans.

World T20 Cricket Champs 2019

In World T20 Cricket Champs 2019, you put together an all-star team of 11 players, and take on the cricket world. There are 5 game modes in World T20 Cricket Champs 2019, which include Net Practice, Quick Match, Test match, Challenges, and Tournament Mode.

The game features some of the top cricket-playing countries, including Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, South Africa, and India. You can also play as a captain instead of a player and manage team decisions, such as hiring batting and bowling coaches for improving your teams performance.

Doodle Cricket

Doodle Cricket is a casual cricket game developed by Google, using Google’s Advance AI Algorithm. It has cute, cartoon graphics and very simple gameplay, in that you simply tap the screen to hit the ball when it comes near you. It’s a very casual game, and is extremely lightweight on your device.
