THE omission of Toby Roland- Jones from the starting XI for the Headingley Test was both strange and disappointing.
While I have nothing against Chris Woakes, who is a fine bowler, it was Roland-Jones who played a huge part in the 19 wickets that fell on the concluding day at Edgbaston.
