GAVIN Griffiths made his name in T20s and is about to work with one of the kings of the shortest format in Paul Nixon, but the Leicestershire bowler insists he is ready to shine in red-ball cricket too.
The 24-year-old extended his contract at Grace Road through to 2019 last month, and is currently working his way back from an alert in his back suffered at the end of last season.
That was also Griffiths’ first real campaign of first-class cricket, in which he made his County Championship debut.
