BEN STOKES is likely to join up with England in New Zealand next week after his court appearance on Tuesday to answer a charge of affray.
The all-rounder has not played for his country since the incident outside a Bristol nightclub in late September that led to this criminal case and his prolonged absence from international cricket.
Stokes had his suspension from the England & Wales Cricket Board lifted last month and was expected to be available for his country’s T20 Tri-Series match against New Zealand next week.
