FORGOTTEN man Reece Topley says he should not be targeted as cricket’s next red-ball exile.
The 24-year-old fast bowler has signed a whiteball only contract with Hampshire for the 2018 season after suffering a two-year injury nightmare.
But unlike fellow countrymen Adil Rashid and Alex Hales, who opted to call time on Test cricket in favour of a white-ball career, Topley insists he is only taking a temporary absence from red-ball cricket to aid his recovery.
