Nightclub incident was self-defence, says England ace

BEN STOKES told a court he “stepped in” to defend the honour of two gay men before becoming involved in an alleged brawl with two revellers.
The Durham and England allrounder is one of two men accused of affray following an incident outside a Bristol nightclub on September 25.
