ENGLAND have taken a chance on James Vince yet again after handing the Hampshire batsman a recall for next week’s fourth Test against India on his home ground at Southampton.
Vince has been named in a 14-man squad as cover for Jonny Bairstow, whose fractured finger means he will only be considered as a specialist batsman at the Ageas Bowl.
It means that Jos Buttler, England’s one-day wicketkeeper, will take the gloves for the match, with a decision on Bairstow, who broke the middle finger on his left hand during the third Test in Nottingham, to be made next week....
