MARK Wood has received his latest England chance after he was called up for the three-Test series against the West Indies as an injury replacement for fellow fast bowler Olly Stone.
Stone, 25, was ruled out of the series on Wednesday after he sustained a bone stress injury to the left lower back.
Now Wood, whose own career has been blighted by injury since he made his England debut in 2015, will make his way to Barbados ahead of next week’s first Test to replace the Warwickshire seamer.
