EOIN MORGAN has admitted England will be weaker at the World Cup without Alex Hales but says the disgraced batsman had to be jettisoned for the good of the team after it emerged last week he had failed a second test for recreational drugs.
The England captain offered a scathing assessment of Hales’ behaviour, accusing the 30-yearold of showing a “complete disregard” for the values the team bought into following the Bristol brawl in September 2017 that ultimately saw Hales and Ben Stokes banned and fined by the ECB.
