MARK WOOD has warned Pakistan to expect a trial by pace when he teams up with Jofra Archer for the first time in today’s fourth ODI at Trent Bridge.
Wood will return for his first cricket in two months following an ankle injury when he takes his place alongside Archer in England’s attack in Nottingham.
It will see England have the use of two bowlers who can comfortably exceed speeds of 90 miles per hour, with Archer hitting close to 94mph in the opening match of this series at The Oval and Wood 95mph on the tour of the Caribbean at the end of the winter.
