Friends reunited: Jofra Archer comes up against his fellow countrymen at the Ageas Bowl today
THE last time England faced the West Indies in a one-day international, in St Lucia back in March, they slumped to a defeat so humiliating it convinced coach Trevor Bayliss to fast-track Jofra Archer into his World Cup plans.
Today, in Southampton, England’s Barbados-born fast bowler will come up against his home team for the first time as Eoin Morgan’s men attempt to secure the victory that will keep them on track towards a semifinal place.
