CHARLTON striker Lyle Taylor does not need surgery on a knee injury, but still faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The 29-year-old suffered ligament damage while on international duty for Montserrat and boss Lee Bowyer confirmed he will be out of action for a number of weeks.
