STEVENAGE caretakermanager Mark Sampson was delighted to see Michael Timlin rejoin the club on Friday, describing him as a ‘key ingredient’ to his squad.
The 34-year-old central midfielder made 44 starts for Stevenage last season but the club said he chose not to agree a new contract in the summer due to personal reasons.
Timlin, who has also played for Fulham, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Swindon and Southend, rejoined after training with the club this week and was made immediately available for selection.
