My body can’t take any more, says Bell

IAN BELL admitted he can no longer put up with the demands of first-class cricket after announcing his decision to retire at the end of the season.
The 38-year-old, a fivetime Ashes winner, played 118 Tests for England and scored 22 Test centuries with only Sir Alastair Cook and Kevin Pietersen scoring more.
He spent his entire 22- year career at his home county Warwickshire, helping the Bears to six major trophies.
“My body simply can’t keep up with the demands of the game to the standard of which I expect of myself,” said Bell, who now hopes to pursue a coaching career.
