FOR Stuart Broad, the prospect of facing New Zealand at Lord’s this week is one he is relishing after a winter where he bowled a combined 52 overs across three Tests in Sri Lanka and India.
If the winter, including that punishing 3-1 series defeat in India, was a hiding to nothing for England’s seamers then a return to the green, green grass of home at the start of this international summer is a welcome change of scenery.
