PACEMAN Jamie Porter has hailed his Essex teammates for a series of “complete performances” which has put their County Championship defence back on track.
The title holders have recovered from just one win in their opening five rounds with big victories over Derbyshire and Durham last month, sandwiching a rain-affected draw with Warwickshire.
And Porter, who took 4-31 to help complete victory over Durham inside three days last week, reckons his side have now turned a corner.
