RICHARD Goatley has stepped down after six years as Middlesex chief executive due to illhealth.
Goatley was taken ill suddenly at the start of April and has since been off work.
He has been with the club for 16 years having initially joined in 2005 as head of finance, becoming finance director in 2008, and chief operating officer in July 2015. He took over CEO duties in October, replacing Vinny Codrington.
He said: “I am sorry to be leaving Middlesex after 16 wonderful years but my health and family must come first.”
