Cricket provides life-changing role for Andrew

FOR Andrew Edwards, cricket is more than just a game. Since he was first captivated by the commentaries of Richie Benaud on the BBC as Graham Gooch’s England took on the all-conquering West Indies in 1991, it’s now become a way of life for the 35-year-old, who hails from the Denbighshire village of Chirk, in northeast Wales.
So much so, that he believes cricket has provided a vital outlet in his everyday development in his battle with autism.
