ESSEX Eagles – who clinched their first ever T20 title with victory in last year’s Vitality Blast – will begin the defence of their title with a home clash with Middlesex on Thursday August 27.
The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed on Wednesday that this summer’s shortened domestic season will culminate with Vitality Blast Finals Day at Edgbaston on Saturday, October 3.
