JAMES Taylor is back in county cricket having joined Northants as a coaching consultant, with David Sales also joining the county in a part-time coaching role.
Taylor, 27, was forced to retire from playing in April last year due to a heart condition. He had made seven Test appearances for England as well as earning 27 ODI caps.
He has since worked with former county Notts and Yorkshire’s academies as well as working in the media. Taylor will assist the Northants coaches on a consultancy basis for the One-Day Cup.
