ANEURIN Donald’s first full season as a professional cricketer had a lot going on. He scored the joint fastest double hundred in the history of firstclass cricket. He made 1088 runs, 983 of those coming in the Championship. He scored two T20 fifties as Glamorgan made a T20 Blast quarter final. What was missing, a failing that the very mature 20-year-old is happy to admit, was turning some excellent starts into consistently dominant performances.
