Eranga’s bowling is now legal

SRI Lanka’s Shaminda Eranga can continue bowling after his action was cleared by the ICC.
Eranga’s action was found to be illegal in June last year after it was reported following Sri Lanka’s second Test against England.
He was assessed at Loughborough.
The 31-year-old was reassessed in Chennai recently and it was found that the amount of elbow extension in his standard deliveries was within the 15-degree level.
He has not played any competitive cricket since last June, having been hospitalised after he experienced an elevated heartbeat.
