LONDON’S Olympic Stadium will host cricket for the first time next summer ahead of its probable use during the 2019 World Cup.
The as-yet unspecified test event – not expected to be a T20 Blast game – will take place at the conclusion of the Premier League football season in May and will be the first time a dropin pitch will be used in a professional game in England.
