JOFRA Archer has been quick to win over Gary Kirsten – and the Hobart Hurricanes coach is backing the Sussex paceman to make the stepup to international cricket when the call comes.
Archer has been outstanding in the Big Bash this winter, taking 14 wickets for the Tasmanians, a tally that puts him near the top of the bowling charts Down Under.
Those performances follow on from a successful season for Sussex in which he took 61 wickets in Division Two of the County Championship and 14 in the T20 Blast.
