AT 58 years old, Kevin Sharp freely admits that he never expected to become a head coach again, so when Worcestershire offered him the role it came as a surprise.
Yet this is not entirely new territory for Sharp, who spent a year as Yorkshire’s head coach back in 2003, to what he admits were middling results.
Just as this season he has taken the top job at Worcestershire following Steve Rhodes’ departure, that Yorkshire role also came at short notice following Wayne Clark’s exit, but Sharp feels he is much more prepared second time...
