Alison Mitchell believes the aim of attracting a world record MCG crowd in the Women’s World Cup Final is achievable
It’s an ambitious target, make no mistake; the organisers of the ICC Women’s World T20 2020 announced this week that when Australia stage the event in two years’ time, they will aim to set a new world record for attendance at a women’s sporting event when the country’s biggest stadium, the MCG, hosts the final of the showpiece tournament.
