As the son of a former European Tour golfer, Ben Claydon always dreamed of a sporting career.
But it was cricket rather than golf that caught his eye – and his backyard battles with his Dad and his brother have put him on the path to stardom.
Claydon – who turns 18 in March – now plays for the Northamptonshire Academy with designs on breaking into the senior set-up. Having grown up surrounded by sport, Claydon picked it up through his family and the interest has stayed with him ever since.
