AUSTRALIA batsman Travis Head took advice from England rival Moeen Ali before agreeing to join Worcestershire this summer.
The left-hander, who also bowls off-spin will be the club’s main overseas player for the 2018 season and will be available for all formats of the game for the newly-promoted Division One side.
And vice-chairman Tim Curtis confirmed: “He spoke to Moeen Ali in Australia and he gave him positive vibes about coming to Worcestershire. He is hungry to do well.”
