ESSEX lived up to their Eagles name this week as they made a swoop for a pair of Australian star bowlers. Peter Siddle and Adam Zampa will both fly over for a spell at the reigning County Championship champions, with Siddle available for the first five matches.
Spinner Zampa, 25, has also moved to Chelmsford though he will just be available for the T20 Blast. Essex head coach Anthony McGrath is delighted to sign the pair, especially 33-yearold paceman Siddle.
