OLLIE Pope has enjoyed quite some winter.
A trip to Sydney to play for the Campbelltown Ghosts – the club which played host to Monty Panesar last season and finished last in one of club cricket’s most demanding competitions – was designed to hone an already impressive game.
Remarkably, it ended with a tribute in the New South Wales parliament.
