NOTTINGHAMSHIRE all-rounder Samit Patel is “thrilled” to have extended his 16-year stay at Trent Bridge.
Patel, 33, has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2020 season.
He said: “I thoroughly enjoy playing at my home county of Notts, so I’m thrilled to have extended my stay here for another two years. When I made my debut for the club in 2002, I would have never expected to have been playing here all these years later, but it’s a great privilege to play at a ground like Trent Bridge.
