LIAM PLUNKETT’S move to Surrey from Yorkshire, announced yesterday, on a three-year deal had been flagged for some weeks but still caused some surprise.
Right-arm quick bowling is not an area in which there is an apparent shortage at a county that started the season with Tom Curran, Jade Dernbach, Matt Dunn, Conor McKerr, Stuart Meaker, Morne Morkel and Mat Pillans on their books.
