CHRIS Tremlett is predicting an Indian summer of pain as England prepare to face off against the tourists in the opening Test of the series at Edgbaston.
The former Ashes star made his England bow against India in 2007 in a three-match series that England lost 1-0.
That was India’s most recent success on English soil.
But now, 11 years on, Tremlett believes that England will have their work cut out to compete with India’s spinners and star-studded batting line-up on dry pitches that could be tailor-made for them.
