Middlesex mourn the loss of JT

MIDDLESEX are in mourning at the passing of one of its greatest cricketers John Murray, at the age of 83.
Murray, known as JT, was taken ill at Lord’s shortly after the completion of Middlesex’s County Championship match against Warwickshire on Tuesday and died that evening.
In a 24-year career, Murray played 508 firstclass and 147 List A games for Middlesex, claiming a total of 1,418 dismissals as wicket-keeper and scored 17,519 runs.
