CHESHIRE bounced back from Monday’s T20 final defeat by producing another nerveless display in the field to win the Minor Counties Trophy for the first time in 22 years.
Devon appeared to be easing towards victory when they reached the drinks interval at the halfway stage of their reply on 115-1. But they again collapsed to spin – just as they had done in the T20 semi-final against Berkshire – immediately after the resumption.
