YORKSHIRE’S director of cricket Martyn Moxon has urged the England selectors to move Jonny Bairstow up the batting order – and also believes captain Joe Root should be trusted to bat where he feels is right.
Bairstow found himself down at No.7 for the final Test against the West Indies after regaining his wicket-keeping duties having previously been at No 3.
But Moxon thinks the White Rose favourite is wasted there.
