GLOUCESTERSHIRE are to upgrade the nets at their indoor school in Bristol after head coach Richard Dawson suffered a serious eye injury in practice.
The former England spinner was struck in the left eye while bowling in the nets at the start of this month.
He has completely recovered after suffering blurred vision that required him to take three weeks off work but the incident was serious enough for the county to institute a summer overhaul of net facilities.
