MOHAMMAD Nabi says a combination of playing in English conditions and the cauldron of the Indian Premier League will make Afghanistan’s spinners a handful at this year’s World Cup.
The 34-year-old allrounder will form a potent spin attack with world No.3 ranked Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman this summer and Nabi reckons they have the guile and experience to spring a surprise.
All three are currently playing in the highpressure IPL in preparation for their World Cup opener against defending champions Australia on June 1 at Bristol.
