ALEX Willerton’s spell in Australia helped him fly out of the blocks in the Unicorns T20 Cup, according to Lincolnshire chief Mark Fell.
Right-arm quick Willerton is something of a Lincs stalwart and took 7-23 to help his side to a pair of season-opening victories over Northumberland.
The 26-year-old spent the winter at East Belmont CC in Victoria, helping them to a second consecutive GCA1 premiership title, and Fell claims he’s now added another string to his bow.
