HE describes it as the most painful experience of his life – but Sam Billings is putting the bravest of faces on the injury that has put paid to his World Cup dreams.
Speaking to The Cricket Paper from Kent’s match against Yorkshire at Canterbury this week, Billings was in typically positive mood, despite the ongoing pain of a dislocated shoulder that looks set to keep him out until the tailend of the season.
Billings had been on the field for under an over when the incident happened in the opening moments of Kent’s match against Glamorgan last month.
