Stirling’s ‘journey’ has come to an end

PAUL STIRLING admits he has been on an “unforgettable journey” with Middlesex, but says it is now time to move on with Ireland.
Stirling has expressed his desire to continue to play international cricket for Ireland and not to accept a long-term contract with the club.
The decision means that this season is the last in which Stirling, 29, will be able to play for Middlesex as a local player. If he is to play county cricket in the future it will be as an overseas player.
