CRICKET Australia chief executive Nick Hockley insists the Baggy Greens did everything they could to host Afghanistan in a historic one-off Test this winter after announcing it has been put back until next year due to the pandemic.
Australia were due to welcome the fledgeling Test nation for the first time in red-ball cricket with the single five-day game due to take place in Perth from December 7 to 11.
