PHIL Salt has revealed the decision to leave Sussex was a tough one but be could not turn down the chance to join Lancashire.
England international wicket-keeper batsman Salt, 24, will end his six-year stay at Hove to move to Lancashire in a deal that will run until 2025.
Salt, who spent the early years of his life in Manchester, said:
“I’d first of all like to thank everyone at Sussex for the last six years. I’ve loved every minute playing at Hove and moving on has not been an easy decision to make.
