RECKITT Skerritt says he is happy and relieved to have completed an “interesting journey” on his way to securing the West Indies presidency for a second term, writes ATIF AZAM.
Skerritt endured a bumpy ride after the CWI elections were initally postponed after his rival Anand Sanasie revealed that the Board had breached articles.
He and Calvin Hope then subsequently withdrew from the contest in April, eventually paving the way for Skerritt, who brushed aside the allegations, to stay at the helm alongside deputy Kishore Swallow.
